Bollywood actor Sonu Sood on Friday became the brand ambassador of the Delhi government’s ‘ Desh Ke Mentor’ initiative. Under this initiative, students of government schools run by the state will get a mentor who will further guide them in unlocking their potential. The program will be beneficial for students who will find answers related to their careers through the mentors registered. A press conference was also organized informing everyone about the initiative and brand ambassador, along with praising Sonu Sood for his social work.
In a tweet posted by AAP, it is said “@SonuSood has been appointed as the brand ambassador of @ArvindKejriwal govt’s #DeshKeMentor program! “Today, I have been given an opportunity to mentor lakhs of students. There is no greater service than guiding students. I am sure together we can & we will” – Sonu Sood”. Kejriwal added“The Delhi government has been working on a programme revolving around the mentorship of government school students for some time. There are many talented students who come from poor backgrounds and need guidance”.
Earlier Sonu Sood was involved in a lot of philanthropist work and continues to do so. In the lockdown, he came as a life saviour to migrant labourers as well to poor children who were not able to afford education.
