Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli welcomed their first daughter Vamika in January this year.
In a recent interview with Grazia Anushka Sharma recalled her time of pregnancy. She said she was grateful for having her husband around during her pregnancy as Virat was not playing matches at that time. She told that the initial months of her pregnancy was ‘awful’.
“One of the things this experience has taught me is to always look at the positives. It allowed Virat and I to spend a lot of time together because he wasn’t playing any matches at the time. Had he been travelling, I wouldn’t have been able to accompany him in my condition. My first trimester was awful, so it was nice to have him by my side, to handhold and be my cheerleader” ‘ she said.
She also said that she badly wanted a baby shower and was ready to host one for herself. But due to Covid restrictions, it did not happen that grand and was an intimate celebration with only some family members.
