The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan is a 14-book high fantasy epic with a prequel novella. The novel follows the exploits of three boys: Rand al’Thor, Matrim Cauthon, and Perrin Aybara. There are hundreds of characters and points of view in the storey, but it largely concentrates on the exploits of three boys: Rand al’Thor, Matrim Cauthon, and Perrin Aybara.
The first novel in the series, The Eye of the World, was published in 1990, and the series is now being adapted for the screen. Amazon is leading the charge in realising Jordan’s goal. Since the announcement, more information has quietly trickled out, including cast members and even a few teaser trailers, as well as the official teaser poster.
Season 1 of The Wheel of Time is set to premiere in November of this year, and the anticipation is mounting among fans (myself included). During Amazon’s session at Comic-Con@Home, we got to hear a bit more about the storey from the showrunner himself. The first teaser trailer has just been released.
