Yesterday we got the news of the demise of Akshay Kumar’s mother. The death had left the couple broken-hearted but they have a hope that the lady is resting in peace in Heaven.
On September 8, Wednesday, it was reported that Akshay Kumar’s mother Arun Bhatia died of natural causes. The actor posted on his Twitter “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti 🙏🏻”
His wife, Twinkle Khanna had also posted a picture from her birthday last year and captioned it “@akshaykumar Would have never liked it this way but am sure mom is singing Happy Birthday to me from right up there! Thanks to each one of you for your condolences and wishes alike. Life goes on.”
Today in the morning, the couple along with some close friends like Rohit Shetty, Ritesh Deshmukh headed towards the Pawan Hans Crematorium for the final rites and ceremony. We hope that her soul rests in peace wherever she is.
