Vidya Balan turns 42 today! She is starting her new year with her special day and new hopes. 2020 hasn’t been easy for any of us. Being born on 1st January, Vidya gets to celebrate her birthday with a brand new year. She says,” This year is gonna be different from the start”, also she hopes 2021 to be kind and gentle on us. She has been an amazing actress and her journey resembles a roller coaster ride. It wasn’t easy for her to be where she is now. We all have seen her amazing works. But not many of us know she was replaced from 12 films back to back, but she believed in herself and was able to make a comeback.
Now, she is in her 40’s and it’s really difficult for a woman to maintain her position in her age in an industry that wants to young women in leads. Last year we saw her work in Shakuntala Devi’s Biopic. Her works never fail to amaze us. She changed the idea of portraying women in Hindi movies with her leads. She is an inspiration for thousands of women and is a wonderful example of women empowerment.
Last year on her birthday she posed in her gown and celebrated her day with her family and close friends. This year, she might have the same planning. In this pandemic, we learnt how valuable our family is, so family time is very important. Also there because of the curfew going she’d prefer to stay indoors and have fun and spend quality time with her friends and family. She also feels that there has been a change in the priorities of our lives. And today we must live to the fullest and value others existence because no one knows what’s going to happen tomorrow.
