Baba Ramdev recently on Tuesday launched ‘Coronil’ declaring that it has successfully cured the Covid-19 patients with 100% results. He has also claimed that medicine can cure coronavirus in just seven days.

Facts of the claim related to the drug and details are not known to the Ministry of AYUSH. The ministry has ordered the company to stop advertising the products and also warned the company to stop misleading advertising until the results are fully examined.

Earlier today, Baba Ramdev and Managing Director of Patanjali Balkrishna hosted a press conference in which he launched the medicine ‘Coronil’ for the coronavirus cases. He also declared that the company has tested the trial on the coronavirus positive patients and turned negative in three days.

“The Ayush Ministry should also be patient and support our good work. If we had made false claims without conducting controlled clinical trials on purely myths or hearsay, they should reprimand us. But now that our clinical study has shown effective results, the government should also express pride. We have spoken to Ayush officials, they said we don’t have information on the drug, so we sent it to them,” Baba Ramdev said.

The Coronil kit consists of 3 medicines including 2 in tablet form and 1 in liquid form. The entire kit price is Rs 600. The company has declared that the kit will be given for free for those who come in the poverty line. The ingredients include Ashwagandha, Giloy and Tulsi.
