Sophie Couture designed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s stunning silver costume for her first red carpet-appearance at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Ash, who was visiting Cannes for the 21st time, caught everyone’s attention in an over-the-top silver gown with a hood and a black bow. It was a controversial, though stunning, outfit for Aishwarya, who often avoids taking fashion chances. Although we doubt many people would enjoy the style, we give this endeavour a 10 out of 10. Nevertheless, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looks better in it than most people undoubtedly would.
According to a Sophie Couture Instagram post, Aishwarya wore the garment for the first time at Cannes. Crystal and aluminium are used to create the silver sequins. The original artwork, which is shown in the last slide, had a bow, but the image of the garment shown in the post does not.
“Unveiling a mind-blowing creation from our Maison, paired with lightweight aluminium details, a signature corset, and crystals, from the Cannes Capsule Collection,” Sophie Couture’s post’s description stated.
