Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the reigning queen of Cannes, has arrived at last! The star, who appeared on the red carpet on Thursday as she attended the Cannes Film Festival on the French Riviera for the 21st time, was the picture of unmistakable grace and elegance. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived in a lavish Sophie Couture gown, in line with her luxurious red carpet aesthetic.
The 49-year-old was observed walking about town in a shimmering silver gown with light aluminium accents that had a long flared trail and an attached “mystical hood.” It had a large black bow tied at the waist and the brand’s characteristic black corset below.
Aishwarya added to the glitz with defined brows, flushed cheeks, black cat eyeliner, and a bold red lip colour while wearing her straight hair in her typical middle parting. The actor dispensed with all additional accoutrements and allowed her eye-catching ensemble to steal the show on the Cannes red carpet.
Sharing the design and the ensemble, Sophie Couture stated, “Unveiling a mind-blowing creation from our Maison, paired with lightweight aluminium details, a signature corset, and crystals, from the Cannes Capsule Collection.”
