Bryan Cranston battled Covid-19, donated plasma, urges people to keep wearing masks.

Los Angeles: Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston revealed on Thursday that he was diagnosed with Covid-19 and has now fully recovered from the mild symptoms of Coronavirus. The Emmy-winning American actor shared the news with his fans on his Instagram handle. Wearing a face mask, He revealed the news in an IGTV video. Bryan said that he considers himself among the “lucky ones” He faced mild symptoms of the virus which he mentioned in the video as well. He said, “I count my blessings and urge you to keep wearing the damn mask, keep washing your hands, and stay socially distant.” 

He added that he donated plasma since the Covid-19 antibodies are still in his blood. He explained the whole process to donate plasma at UCLA Blood and Platelet Centre explicitly.

In the caption of the video Cranston wrote,

COVID-19 announcement
Hi. About now you’re probably feeling a little tied down, restricting your mobility and like me, you’re tired of this!! Well, I just want to encourage you to have a little more patience. I was pretty strict in adhering to the protocols and still… I contracted the virus. Yep. it sounds daunting now that over 150,000 Americans are dead because of it. 
He added I was one of the lucky ones. Mild symptoms. I count my blessings and urge you to keep wearing the damn mask, keep washing your hands, and stay socially distant. We can prevail – but ONLY if we follow the rules together. Be well – Stay well. BC

The actor further urged his fans to practice social distancing, to keep washing hands and to wear the mask every day. He also emphasised on how important it is to follow the rules to prevail the virus.
