A heartwarming tale of love “DARBAAN” is now streaming on ZEE5 Premium and Uwatchfree

Darbaan is based on the 1891 short story by Rabindranath Tagore and is directed by Bipin Nadkarni. It is a story about love, loyalty and sacrifice.

Sharad Kelkar and Sharib Hashmi play the lead role accompanied by other prominent actors Flora Saini and Rasika Duggal. Hashmi plays the role of a servant (Raicharan) who is personally attached to his master’s son Anukul (whose adult version is played by Sharad Kelkar). Anukul had to be sent away for his further studies due to which Raicharan is separated from him. Years later, the young boy returns as an adult (Sharad Kelkar) and asks Raicharan to be his son’s caretaker. However, this comeback wasn’t all filled with happiness and sunshine. Anukul’s son goes missing one day while he was out with the caretaker. Anukul and his wife (played by Flora Saini) accuse Raicharan of stealing and also murdering their child. Watch this amazing drama show to know what happens next!

Since its release, the movie has gained immense appreciation from the viewers and critics. “It is a must-watch family movie” were some of the reviews. Darbaan is streaming on Zee5 Premium since 4th December.
