Actress Divya Bhatnagar died of COVID-19 on December 7th 2020, at the age of 34. Earlier on November 26th the actress was rushed to hospital after getting diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia. Due to her high blood pressure her health started to deteriorate. After battling with the disease for a week , she took her last breath at Mumbai’s SevenHills hospital on the morning of December 7th. In a previous interview regarding her health her mother informed about her deteriorating condition even after putting her in a ventilator. In November she last posted a screenshot of her video call on her Instagram story quoting,” Hi my Instagram family. Pray for my speedy recovery. I love you all.“
Her friends and colleagues showed their grievance on social media after learning about her death. To pay condolences to the deceased, actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shilpa Shirodkar posted a picture of their with Divya on Instagram after listening to the news. Her friend Yuvraj Raghuvanshi in a recent interview with spotboye also mourned over her death.
Her mother in an interview revealed about how her marriage was falling apart and how she was suffering through stress because of it. Reported that she got married to a man named Gagan last year in December. The actress has gained many fans with her spectacular roles in her previous projects. She acted in shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai, Sanskaar, Udaan, Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre, Vish and Sanware Sabko Preeto among others. Recently the actress was shooting for the ongoing comedy drama “Tera Yaar Hoon Main” on SAB TV.
