Disney+ previously revealed the highly anticipated Ahsoka limited series, and on April 7, 2023, the production team released a statement with information about the premiere. The show is a spin-off of the popular series The Mandalorian and a part of the Star Wars universe.
On August 23, 2023, viewers can watch Ahsoka on Disney+ Hotstar. According to the official statement, “On August 23,#Ahsoka starts streaming in Hindi and English.” Rosario Dawson reprises her role as Ahsoka Tano from The Mandalorian in the television series. Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Hayden Christensen, Eman Esfandi, Ivanna Sakhno, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, Genevieve O Reilly, and Diana Lee Inosanto are among the actors who appear in the series. Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Jon Favreau are the show’s executive producers. At least one episode of the show will be helmed by Peter Ramsey, and Filoni will also be directing a number of them.

With the announcement of several spin-off series from The Mandalorian, including Ahsoka and The Book of Boba Fett, there has been a lot of anticipation for the series’ impending release. The spin-offs coexist with The Mandalorian through connected stories that reach a dramatic climax. At Lucasfilm’s Star Wars Celebration panel in May 2022, Filoni and Favreau promoted the series, and Dawson made an appearance in full costume via video message from the set.
At the Star Wars Celebration in London on April 7, 2023, Filoni, Favreau, Dawson, and Bordizzo unveiled the first Ahsoka trailer, which increased interest in the upcoming series.
