Three days ago, Byomkesh O’s Durgo Rahasya got announced. Dev broke the breaking news by announcing the movie’s release date. He also made it known who would play Ajit.
In Birsa Dasgupta’s Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya, where Dev portrays Byomkesh and Rukmini Maitra assumes the role of Satyabati, Ambarish Bhattacharya will play Ajit. Dev published a picture taken on the set. Byomkesh was observed reading a book as Ajit and he was standing in the window’s light and shade. “On the auspicious occasion of Rabindra Jayanti, here’s a sneak peek of your beloved Ajit and Byomkesh,” Dev wrote beside the image. On August 11, 2023, if all goes as planned, we hope to see you at the movies.
Dev said in January that he will take on the role of the venerable investigator. Even by those within the industry, he has received a lot of trolling since this statement. Numerous rumours have also been spread regarding Satyabati’s casting. Finally, after considering many names, Rukmini Maitra’s identity as Dev’s lover was established.
Last month, Dev distributed the movie’s first look poster. Shadow Films and Dev Entertainment Ventures will collaborate to develop the movie.
