Directors John Paul Raj and Sham Surya are back with a Tamil romantic sports comedy movie ‘ Friendship’ which is all set to release on the 17th of September. The film features Harbhajan Singh, Arjun Sarja, Losliya Mariyanesan and Vettukkili Bala.
This movie marks the debut of former international cricketer Singh and Sri Lankan news telecaster Mariyanesan. The shooting for the movie started way back in march of 2020 but was put to a stop due to the pandemic.
Mr Singh was cast after his fame rose in Tamil Nadu due to his pivotal role in CSK during the IPL. He was offered to play the role of the student from Punjab which the cricketer accepted immediately.
Losliya Mariyanesan rose to fame after her appearance in Big Boss 3 Tamil, after which she signed on to play the female lead in the movie. The negative role of the movie is to be played by Arjun Sarja and Sathish is all set to play the friend of the main protagonist. The crew has not released any information with regards to when the movie will be released on OTT platforms.
