However, this old piece of furniture is thought to be cursed, bringing misfortune and disaster to its owners. Khurchi has a remarkable ensemble led by noted actress Smita Tambe, recognised for her stunning performances in films like “Mitraa” and “Anya.”
She gives depth and emotion to the portrayal of Sai, a woman trapped between fear and rebellion. The supporting cast, which includes Mangesh Joshi, Urmila Kanitkar, and Shruti Atole, adds levels of mystery and intrigue to the story. Yogesh Joshi’s directorial debut, Khurchi, gives a novel viewpoint to the horror genre.
Studio Next Entertainment, known for supporting highly acclaimed Marathi films, is producing the film. Khurchi, which has a projected budget of 25 crore, promises high-quality production values and spine-chilling images.
