Sooryavanshi is an Upcoming Hindi Language Action Film jointly written by Farhad Samji, Sachin Bendre and Vidhi Ghodgadnkar directed by Rohit Shetty and jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment, Dharma Productions Cape of Good Films and Rohit Shetty Picturez. The film was Edited by Bunty Nagi while Cinematography was handled by Jomon T. John. The music of the film was composed by Amar Mohile and S. Thaman.
The Cast of the film includes Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif in the Prominent roles while Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Vivan Bhatena, Sikander Kher and many others in the supporting role. Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh also gave their appearance for a cameo role while representing their famous character of Singham and Simba.
The Movie was announced in December 2018 through the post-credit scene in Simba Movie. The first look poster featuring Akshay Kumar was released in March 2019. The Movie was expected to be released on Eid in 2020 but held back due to Covid-19 Pandemic. After the delay of the whole year, the makers of the film announced on 14th March that the movie will be released on 30 April 2021, on the occasion of Eid.
