Kannada movie Thackeray is announced to get released in theatres on April 8, 2021. This movie belongs to the action and thriller genre with a little bit of romance. Guru Deshpande has written its script and directed this movie. In addition to this, MN Kumar is the producer of the Thackeray movie and V Sridhar has directed the music.
Director and producer have revealed only two names from the cast of this movie. Prajwal Devraj and Ravichandran will be there in the lead roles. Prajwal, in this film, will be playing a grey shaded role which is obviously different from the heroes of usual Indian movies. Ravichandran will be displayed as Prajwal’s godfather.
Director as well as the producer announces that this movie will not be related to Bal Thackeray as it was rumoured that it was going to a biopic of Bal Thackeray. It’s a fiction based script. It doesn’t have any connection with the Thackeray family of Maharashtra. Thackeray movie will be based on a mafia of a specific place. The main reason to name it Thackeray is that this name seems to be esteemed and powerful which completely fits the story.
