Sanjay Dutt shares UNSEEN PHOTO of Sunil Dutt and Nargis on their marriage anniversary.

Sanjay Dutt took to Instagram as he posted a picture of his parents Sunil Dutt and Nargis on their anniversary. The caption read, “Both of you taught me the real meaning of love. Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad❤”.

The couple got married in 1958, after playing the lead roles in the movie, ‘Mother India’ (1957), and had three children Sanjay, Priya and Namrata Dutt.

Sunil Dutt has been a part of several blockbuster movies like, ‘Mother India’ (1957), ‘Waqt’ (1965), ‘Khandan’ (1966), ‘Hamraaz’ (1967). ‘Padosan’ (1968), ‘Munna Bhai M. B. B. S.’ (2003), and its sequel. His last role was in the Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’ (2007).

He later went on to join politics, joining the Indian National Congress in 1984 and was also elected to the Parliament of India for five terms. He died of a heart attack on the 25th of May, 2005.

Nargis has a long list of successful Bollywood movies for herself including, ‘Angarey’ (1954), ‘Shree 420’ (1955), ‘Mother India’ (1957), for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress, ‘Adalat’ (1958), ‘Raat aur Din’ (1967), for which she won the National Film Award for the Best Actress, and many more. She died in 1981 of pancreatic cancer, three days before Sanjay Dutt made his debut in ‘Rocky’ (1981).

After his debut, the crime thriller ‘Naam’ (1958) became a turning point in Sanjay’s career, which eventually led to a series of commercial successes like, ‘Ilaaka’ (1989), ‘Hum bhi Insaan Hai’ (1989), ‘Saajan’ (1991), ‘Khalnayak’ (1993), ‘Vaastav’ (1999), ‘Mission Kashmir’ (2001), ‘Munna Bhai M. B. B. S.’ (2003) and its sequel.

A controversy arose when he was convicted for violation of the Arms Act for possession of illegal weapons. He was released from imprisonment in 2016. A biopic, ‘Sanju’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, was made based on his life in 2018, by director Rajkumar Hirani.

Sanjay was last seen in ‘Panipat’ (2019) and ‘Sadak 2’ (2020).
