A day after a live concert of singer and rapper AP Dhillon in Mumbai, police have registered FIR against the organisers for allegedly violating Covid protocols amid the concerns sparked in the wake of Omicron variant cases in the country. Several star kids like Sara Ali Khan with her brother Ibrahim, Janhvi Kapoor and other celebrities were spotted at this concert.
The Vakola Police in Mumbai has registered an FIR under sections 188, 269 of the IPC against the organisers for alleged violation of Covid protocols. The event was organised at a five-star hotel in Kalina, Santacruz.
BJP has hit out hard at the Maharashtra government, police, and BMC officials over the alleged violation of Covid norms. The BJP asked how the organisers were unaware of such a huge gathering at a live concert? It also questioned why the event was not stopped.
