The auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi is upon all of us which includes all our favourite Bollywood celebrities. Shilpa Shetty brought her Ganesha home on Wednesday from Mumbai’s Lalbaug Ganpati Workshop. The actress is known for her elaborate festivities lasting for a total of 11 days up to the day of visarjan. The paparazzi surrounded her as she tried to get Bappa inside her house, but this never bothered the diva who proceeded to scream ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya!‘.
Actress Tinaa Datta revealed how due to her recent shift in residence she will be bringing home an eco-friendly Ganesha as the visarjan will be taking place at home and the sweets (prasad and chadoing bhog) will be prepared at home. Supriya Pilgaonkar from Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is thankful for the success of her serial and hopes to celebrate this year Ganesh Chaturthi with all her fans. The actress is all set to receive Bappa at her mother’s house and plans the celebrate the visarjan and other ceremonies at her place. Singer Akriti Kakar revealed how she had only started celebrating the festival after she got married and this would be her sixth year doing so. The singer has her heart set on bringing home an eco-friendly Ganesha and hopes to give a Punjabi swing when it comes to the food.
