The ‘Uri’ sweetheart recently took to Instagram to announce that he was done with the last works of ‘Sardar Udham Singh’. The post featured the actor all tired and leaning on the buttons in the recording studio, holding up a peace sign with the biggest smile on his face. He captioned the same with ‘Dubbed and dusted! ☺️✌🏽’. The movie which was released earlier this year is being dubbed in other regional languages. The director Shoojit Sircar has paired Mr Kaushal with Banita Sandhu as Shruti Tiwari. Banita Sandhu has already worked with Mr Sircar in October making this her second project with the director.
The movie shows the events which take place during the assassination of Michael O’ Dwyer which was done single-handedly by Sardar Udham Singh who looked to take revenge for the shootings at the Jallianwalla Bagh massacre. The assassination took place in London which sparked the Indian Freedom Movement. The movie was announced on the 4th of March, 2020.
