One of the finest actress of Bollywood industry Jacquline Fernandez. She is the beautiful crush of many people around the world and has given us many reasons to love her because of her acting and her stunning skills.
Jacqueline was born on 11th August 1985 in Manama Bahrain and she has been raised in a multi-ethnic family. Her father, Elroy Fernandez, is a Sri Lankan Burgher and her mother Kim is of Malaysian descent. Jacqueline is the youngest of all. She used to host television shows in Bahrain at the age of 14. After her schooling in Bahrain, she studies maa communication at the University of Sydney in Australia. After graduating she worked as a television reporter in Sri Lanka. She also went to Berlitz school of languages to learn Spanish and she took a grip on her French and Arabic.
In one of her interviews, Jacqueline stated that she also wanted to become an actress in the Hollywood industry. She received some acting skills at John Acting School. She was a television reporter but she also accepted modelling offers. In 2006, she was crowned as Miss Universe of Sri Lanka pageant and represented Sri Lanka at the world Miss Universe 2006 pageant held in Los Angeles. She described the modelling industry as a good training ground. In 2006, she appeared in a music video ‘O Sathi’ by music duo Bathiya and Santhush.
In 2009, she made her Bollywood debut in acting for the film Aladin, although the film was a commercial failure she won IIFA for Star Debut of the Year – Female. She further acted in Jaane Kaha Se Aayi Hai in and in Housefull in 2010. Mahesh Bhatt’s movie Murder 2 in 2011 was her first commercial success and a turning point in her career. Later she has done many movies like Housefull 2 in 2012, Race 2 and Ramaiya Vastavaiya in 2013, Kick in 2014, Roy, Bangistan, Brothers and Definition of fear in 2015, Housefull 3, Dishoom and A Flying Jatt in 2016, According to Mathew, A Gentleman and Judwaa 2 in 2017, Baaghi 2 and Race 3 in 2018, Saho and Drive in 2019 and Mrs Serial Killer in 2020. At present, she is filming Attack. She has also judged in a reality show Jhalak Dikh Laja. Her recent song Genda Phool was a hit song of 2020. She has received almost 18 awards till now and has been nominated for several categories too.
