Recently, Kalki Koechlin and her boyfriend, Hershberg, were blessed with a Baby Girl, Sappho.
Kalki took to her Instagram and finally shared her name and glimpse along with the women who were angels for her during the times of delivery. Her captions speak about her pain which she had to go through before bringing this angel into this world.
She penned, “So thankful to the whole team at Tulip Women’s Care and to my to doctors @docsheetalsabharwal and @drrvpunjabi who simply refused to give up on me even when after 17 hours I was so tired I begged them to take the baby out any way they could and they said no, you’ve come this far and you’re going to have your natural water birth, and an hour later Sappho was born. You guys are miracle workers!

Kalki was earlier married to director Anurag Kashyap but they got separated. And then she met her present boyfriend, Hershberg. Kalki was constantly active during her pregnancy period and shared her feelings.
Although, she was criticised a lot as she is not married to her boyfriend and still, she took a decision to continue with her pregnancy which is still considered a ‘taboo’ in India.
She recently made her debut Tamil film with ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’. Reports say she will be seen next in a web-series.
