Kangana Ranaut is all set to be the new face of the One District One Product (ODOP) program by the UP government which aims to encourage the indigenous and specialized products and craft that each of the districts of the state has. The actress managed to meet CM Yogi Adityanath in his official residence in Lucknow in between her Moradabad schedule for her shoot of the movie, ‘Tejas‘.
She also announced her meet with the CM on her Instagram but the announcement of the position was announced by Navneet Sehgal. Sehgal took to Twitter to announce the following, ‘Famous Actress Kangana Ranawat met @myogiadityanath Hon’ble Chief Minister UP, who presented her with an @UP_ODOP product. Kangna ji will be our Brand Ambassador for ODOP @CMOffice UP‘
The meeting also involved Ranaut congratulating Adityanath for the upcoming elections and appreciating his work in the UP government. Adityanath replied to the same with, ‘Ramchandra ki tarah tapaswee raja ka yahan raaj rahein‘ which translates to, ‘May the king who is like Lord Ram be in power here. Yogi Adityanath also gifted Ranaut a coin which was used in the bhumi puja of the ‘Ram Mandir‘, which was then shared by Kangana on her Instagram referring to it as a ‘good oath‘.
