Kannada’s popular actor Raj Deepak Shetty postponed his wedding due to coronavirus

The nationwide lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been deterrent in many activities that people had planned during this time, including weddings. The lockdown has affected weddings of both celebrities and common people.

One such celebrity who had to recently postpone his marriage due to the lockdown is the
popular Kannada actor Raj Deepak Shetty. He was going to tie the knot with his fiancee Sonia Rodrigues on 17th May 2020 but the wedding has now been postponed to October.
According to the latest reports, popular Kannada actor Raj Deepak Shetty, who is known for his performances in films Panchatantra and Bharjari, has postponed his wedding.

The actor was supposed to tie the knot in a grand ceremony in Mangalore. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic scare, the actor has now decided to get married in October. Though the lockdown is likely to end on May 3, Raj Deepak Shetty felt that it would tough and dangerous for their families and friends to travel at such a time.

The lavish wedding ceremony is going to be a two-day event with only close friends and family attending it. The dates and venue are still to be announced officially.
On the professional front, the former TV actor will be seen playing a crucial role in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, Pushpa. In one of his earlier interviews, he said, “There are three different narratives in the movie. Actors Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu and I are the three villains. All three of us share major screen space.”

Raj Deepak is also a part of the Telugu remake of hit Tamil film, Asuran. Titled Naarappa, the film features actor Venkatesh in the lead role. The first look poster was released in January and it went on to become an instant hit among the fans.
