The current nationwide lockdown has barred people from going out of their houses and has prevented them from going about their lives as they did usually. People are longing to meet their friends. Social media, while not the real thing, has been aiding with that.
Similar is the case with the two Bollywood beauties Kareena Kapoor Khan and Malaika Arora who are BFFs and quite well known for their friendship. Recently, Malaika made the weekend of her fans and followers brighter by sharing a selfie-and a boomerang of herself wearing a kaftan instead of the usual gym wear and sporting the no-makeup look.
She was inspired by her good friend, Kareena Kapoor’s recent post on Instagram in which she wrote: “Summer essentials: Messy bun, kaftan and homemade masks.”
Below the post, Malaika Arora wrote, “Yeah my Bebo, I have swapped my #gym wear for kaftans, blow dry hair for messy hair n make up for no makeup in lockdown ….. @kareenakapoorkhan #kaftantales#stayhomestaysafe #summeressentials…”
Reacting to her BFF’s post, Kareena shared it on her Instagram story and captioned it like this: “The only thing you haven’t replaced is a juice with wine. Love you, Malaika.”
That said, prior to the lockdown, we used to often snap Kareena, Malaika, Amrita and Karisma catch up for lunch dates, however, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, since everyone is indoors, Bebo and her gang of girls have been chilling virtually.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium starring Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan and next, she will be seen in Aamir Khan starter Laal Singh Chaddha.
