The linkup stories of Cricketers with Bollywood actresses has always been in the headlines.The new couple in town who is mostly talked about is now KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty. It is rumoured that Athiya and KL Rahul have been dating for the past one year. The cricketer even took to Instagram to share a picture with his “friend”. In the picture, KL is seen holding a telephone receiver, while Athiya can be seen smiling. He captioned the pic, “Hello, Devi Prasad?” Earlier, when Suniel was asked about the rumours, he said, “See, I know both my kids will pick the right partners who will complement and support them.”
Recently,Athiya took to Instagram to share some of her pictures ,the actress posted the pictures with the caption, “party of two!” And soon to comment on the post was cricketer KL Rahul, who wrote, “nice shirt”. Athiya, made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with the romantic action film ‘Hero’ opposite Sooraj Pancholi. She was last seen in Nawazuddin Siddiqui- starrer ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ last year.
In a span of three years she has done only two movies Hero and Mubarakan ,when asked about it she said that “I was getting scripts, but for me, it should come from the gut. I feel that is my superpower- my intuition. It’s what I rely on. If I read something and connect with it, I say yes. But if I am left questioning it and taking long to decide, I know I am not supposed to do it.”She also added that “I think that I was super competitive when I first came into the industry. I would see what this or that person is doing.
But as I have grown and matured, I have realized that it’s not important. Timing is very important, everybody has their time. It’s important for you to do what you have to do. Competition doesn’t bother me, I feel confident enough. It motivates me to work harder, and I know I need to work better,”.Now that competition doesn’t bother Athiya she is living best of her time and is looking up for good scripts.Sunil Shetty is also very proud of her daughter’s decisions.
