Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit popularly known as ‘Dhak Dhak girl’ celebrated her 53rd birthday today. The actress is so poured with birthday wishes and love from fans and industry colleagues, to all the gifts and wishes the actress has the best return gift ever. Madhuri Dixit shared the teaser of her first single titled ‘Candle’ on her Instagram. The teaser is a ray of hope and positivity which is the most essential thing during this lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In the video, the close-up shots of Madhuri’s lips and eyes are shown as she sings the lines of the song and teaser ends with a coming soon text. The actress wrote on Instagram, “Thanks for all the good wishes and birthday love! Wanted to give some love back to you. Sharing an exclusive preview of my first ever single. Will share the song soon. It’s called Candle and it’s about hope, something we need in large supply right now.” This isn’t the first time Madhuri Dixit has showcased her singing skills, in the I for India virtual concert the actress sang the rendition of Ed Sheeran’s song ‘Perfect’ with her son, Arin Nene playing the piano. She shared the video as an IGTV video on her Instagram handle.
Madhuri Dixit was last seen in Karan Johar’s period drama ‘Kalank’ as a courtesan. The film also starred Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in important roles. The actress celebrated her birthday with her family and her pet dog Carmelo, she revealed in her Instagram stories that spending time with Carmelo is her favourite part of the day during the lockdown. With the career of around three decades, Madhuri Dixit has starred in blockbuster movies like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Saajan’, ‘Dil to Pagal Hai’, ‘Devdas’ and several more. In the upcoming days, Madhuri Dixit will be next seen as a judge on a reality TV with the new season of ‘Dance Deewane’, she recently kick-started the auditions by shooting the promo at home.
