They had detained the star who had also featured in Salman Khan’s “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” and other famous Bollywood movies. The NCB had caught Kohli under the NDPS Act (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances). They had also informed that Kohli might be involved in a contravention of a small number of drugs, harbouring offenders, and even financing illicit traffic of them.

The NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede reported: “After the raid, actor Armaan Kohli gave ambiguous answers to questions put up by NCB. He was then taken to custody for questioning at the NCB office“.

Also, on Monday, the NCB had reported to the court that there was more than one gram of cocaine found from the actor’s apartment. This required further questioning of both the actor and Singh. Hence, the bail plea had also been postponed.

After the unfortunate death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the NCB has been working extremely hard to fight back drug abuse by celebrities.
