Shershaah becomes a ‘most-watched movie’ on Amazon Prime, Sidharth and Kiara celebrate the record.

Ever since Shershaah was released, the people have been going absolutely loving the movie. Based on the life story of Captain Vikram Batra, people had often labelled it as being realistic and has not over-glorified the life of army personnel.

Shershaah becomes a 'most-watched movie' on Amazon Prime, Sidharth and Kiara celebrate the record.

On Tuesday, Amazon Prime Video announced that the movie starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani has been the most-watched movie with an IMDB rating of 8.9 and 88,000 viewers. This has of course overwhelmed the actor who had shared a small snippet of the movie on his Instagram with the caption:” Thank you, everyone, for your love and making #shershaah the most-watched film on amazon! 🙏❤️” 

The producer of the movie, well-known Karan Johar had of course commented: “Shershaah has always been a film close to our hearts, and seeing the love and appreciation the film has received makes me feel incredibly proud about the movie and each and everyone associated with it”.  

Vijay Subramaniam, Director and Head of Content for Amazon Prime Video India had shared: “It was important for us to bring the inspiring story of braveheart Captain Vikram Batra and the Indian army during the Kargil war to audiences far and wide. The movie is a tribute to these sons and daughters of the soil for whom nothing matters more than the love for the country. Shershaah is a very special film and we are absolutely delighted to see it receive such an unprecedented amount of love and success from all corners.”
