Earlier this Monday son of superstar Shahrukh Khan, Aryan was arrested in the connection with drugs. Mumbai court sent Aryan in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till October 7 in connection with a cruise drug bust case. Seven other accused in the case were also remanded to NCB’s custody by the Mumbai NCB department.
During a court hearing today, Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde argued that nothing was recovered from his client and asked the court to grant him bail. “They are levelling very serious allegations against Khan. But it has to be supported with evidence… The court can look through the chats… They do not talk about it,” Maneshinde told the court. The court evaluated that the investigation was of prime importance and granted NCB custody of Aryan Khan till October 7. “Considering this aspect, the presence of the accused with NCB is necessary. Remanded till 7,” the court stated.
The court, in its order, said the “co-accused possess intermediate contraband. The accused accompanied them. The investigation is of prime importance. It will be essential for prosecution and accused to prove innocence.” Earlier today, Gauri Khan was seen leaving for court from their Bandra house ‘Mannat’ for her son’s bail hearing.
