Sachin Tendulkar, Shikhar Dhawan wished Brian Lara on his birthday

Brain Charles Lara is a former international cricketer, widely acknowledged as one of the greatest batsmen of all time Lara also holds the record for the highest individual score in test innings after scoring 400 not out against England at Antique in 2004. Brain Lara is popularly nicknamed as ” The Prince of part of Spain” or simply ” The prince”. He was born on 2 May 1969.

Lara is the father of a daughter called Sydney (born 1996) whom he fathered with Revers. His father died in 1989 of a heart attack and his mother died in 2002 of cancer. Brian Lara is also a golf player. He has participated in golfing tournament throughout the Caribbean region and has won titles. In September 2009, Lara was inducted as an honorary lifetime member of the Royal st kit Golf Club. He wrote an autobiography beating the sector: my very own story co-written with Brian Scovell.
