Sachin Tendulkar turns barber for son Arjun amid lockdown. Watch the video here

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar turns barber for his 20-year-old son Arjun as he gives him a haircut amid lockdown. The cricketer shared the clipping of him trimming his son’s hair on Instagram and captioned, “As a father, you need to do everything, be it playing games with your kids, gyming with them or for that matter cutting their hair.”

The video gained 9 lakh views since being posted and also received many comments. Some users wrote ‘awesome dad’, while some others said that he is a master in everything. One user wrote that Arjun looks like Kevin Peterson after a haircut. Sachin also thanked his daughter Sara Tendulkar for being his Salon Assistant.

However, this is not the first time Sachin has turned into a barber, last month he shared pictures of him cutting his own hair. He captioned the post, “From playing square cuts to doing my own hair cuts, have always enjoyed doing different things.” While the government has eased restrictions in the fourth phase of lockdown but still barbershops and salons are not allowed to function.

However, Sachin is not the only sportsperson who has taken scissors in his hands amid this lockdown. Indian team captain, Virat Kohli got a haircut from his wife Anushka Sharma at the beginning of lockdown. Indian bowler, Irrfan Pathan turned hairstylist for his brother Yusuf Pathan. Yusuf Pathan shared before and after photo of his hair on Instagram. Indian test specialist Chesteshwar Pujara was also left to his wife when it came to the haircut. Pujara shared a photo and wrote, “Trusting your batting partner for a quick single when on 99* or trusting the wife for your haircut – what takes more courage!” along with tagging his wife.

Sachin is currently with his family, where he celebrated his 47th birthday. The cricketer is doing all he can do to help the country, he was the first cricketer to come forward to donate to the relief funds. He donated a total of Rs. 50 lakh and also ration and essential items to the poor and needy in Mumbai. The Master Blaster has also taken part in several initiatives on social media to raise awareness against the pandemic.
