Smash Patriarchy: From Vidya Balan to Kareena Kapoor, demands justice for Rhea post her arrest

Yesterday, Rhea got arrested by the NCB( Narcotics Central Bureau) for the procuring drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput. While taking her to the station, she was found wearing a t-shirt which got trending.

She was found wearing the t-shirt as it says, “ Roses are Red, Violets are blue, let’s smash the Patriarchy, Me and You.”

Her t-shirt says it all, after the picture, a lot of B- Town celebrities came in the support for Rhea Chakraborty and posted the same picture on their Instagram or on their stories.

Many women, are supporting the campaign, and being by the side of Rhea for the sake of Patriarchy.

Several photos of Rhea Chakraborty got viral of she being heckled by many men, she was looking extremely uncomfortable as the photos seemed to have extreme Patriarchy and the people got offensive the way they treated Rhea while she was heading to the office of NCB.

Filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava writes on her twitter handle saying, “ No thoughts about the economy, pandemic or anything else of consequence. Indians are only interested in Burning Rhea at the stake. That’s what makes our people happy and fulfilled and validated. No amount of fake and venom is enough. We are sick, we are very sick.”

Actor Swara Bhasker tweeted saying, “ India…..

, she added.

Dia Mirza tweeted saying Media’s behaviour reprehensible and asked everyone to stop “dehumanizing” Rhea Chakraborty and his family.

Anubhav Sinha, Anurag Kashyap also have shown the support to the campaign.

Actress, Taapsee Pannu says, “ In the name of the justice these people have lynched a human being of her right to live even before proven guilty. I sincerely pray Karma finds the address of each and every human being part of this lowest low of mankind we are witnessing”.

Many celebrities like Radhika Madan, Angad Bedi, Saqib Salim, Neha Dhupia, Gauhar Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Kareena Kapoor Khan have shared the picture in the Instagram account and also on their Instagram story.

The campaign is now trending in all the social media as people are now using #justiceforrhea in the picture which they are posting for the support of Rhea as they know Patriarchy is being given the advantage other than democracy.
