SRK to join a global virtual event to support the frontline health workers who are battling against the coronavirus

Shah Rukh Khan the superstar of Bollywood will meet artistes from different parts of the world. The actor on Tuesday announced his participation in the ‘One World: Together At Home’, on twitter. Its a virtual concert organised by the World Health Organization (WHO) and international advocacy organisation Global Citizen.
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta who is professionally referred to as Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Pop star Lady Gaga curated the concert and will be stream on different global platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Alibaba, Amazon Prime Video, Apple.

“Health care workers on the frontlines of the #COVID19 crisis need our support. That’s why I’m standing in solidarity with @glblctzn and @WHO for one world: #TogetherAtHome- a one-night special event on April 18,” Shah Rukh Khan wrote on twitter.
Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, Billie Joe Armstrong, Camila Cabello, Chris Martin, David and Victoria Beckham, Ellen DeGeners, Idris and Sabrina Elba, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, Lilly Singh, Oprahh Winfrey, Paul McCartney, Priyanka ChopraJonas, Taylor Swift, Vishal Mishra will perform at the special event.

Shah Rukh Khan has been doing his bit to contribute to the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. 25000 Personal Protective Equipment kit (PPE) was provided by Shah Rukh Khan to the frontline medical staff In Maharashtra which is fighting the battle against the novel Covid-19 pandemic to control its spread. He too had promised to donate same to West Bengal.

Recently, he along with his wife Gauri Khan, had given away their four-storey personal office space for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. The Great Bollywood 54 years superstar had announced earlier various initiatives to help the country during the health crisis.

According to Union health ministry, the death toll due to Covid-19 climbed to 377, while the number of cases had reached to 377, while the number of cases in India had reached to 11439.
