An alleged drug dealer who has been linked in the high profile drug case surrounding the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput has been put into 14 days custody. The Narcotics Control Bureau held him in possession of 0.23 gms LSD and 30 gms charas from a raid conducted in Panaji, Goa.
The accused named Hemant Sah ran a shack at North Goa’s Morjim beach. He has been named as a supplier along with Mumbai-based drug dealers Anuj Keswani and Regan Mahakaal who have been previously booked in the case.
The NCB took over the investigation in August 2020 after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) found drugs after looking into the financial statements after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14 at his rented duplex in Bandra, Mumbai.
Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau filed a 12,000-plus pages charge sheet against at least 33 people, including film actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and others involved in the Bollywood’s drugs-mafia probe case which arose after the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
