The Indian Sign Language Research and Training Center (ISLRTC) launched its first Indian Sign Language Dictionary consisting of 3000 terms back on 23rd March 2018 at India International Center, New Delhi.

The latest version of the same was launched on the 17th of February, 2021 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and consists of 10,000 words in total. Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s name was recently added to the dictionary and according to a few rumours so have the following actors, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Priyanka Chopra.

A fan page on Twitter revealed the sign which is to be followed, which involves holding two fingers like a gun close to one’s left chest and then tapping it twice on the area. This caused a huge stir in the fans who reached out to King Khan on all possible social media handles to congratulate him. Khan is all set to be seen in ‘Pathan’ alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
