Vaani Kapoor is all set and ready to shoot her next film in Chandigarh. She is set to star opposite Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time.
Several reports speculated that the Befikre actress had been tested positive for COVID-19. A report by Zoom stated that the actress was not infected in any way. Earlier today, the actress posted a picture of her getting ready on the set of the film.
The film, which is still untitled, is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, who also directed the hit film, Kedarnath. It is a modern love story set in North India and Ayushmann will play a role that he’s never played before- a role of an athlete.
Vaani is super excited about the film. She stated in an interview, “I have always wanted to work with Abhishek, as I am inspired by his films. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of his vision. Also, Ayushmann is one of the most talented actors of our generation and I’m thrilled about our first outing together, which is a progressive love story.”
Recently, she wrapped the shoot of the Akshay Kumar starrer “BellBottom”.
