Soon after, a similar announcement was made by the State government of Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted in Hindi, which can be translated briefly. The film on the life of the great warrior emperor Prithviraj, in which Akshay Kumar plays the lead role has also been made tax-free in Madhya Pradesh so that maximum Youth can see and know about the film and instil in them a feeling of love for the motherland.
Moments later, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also announced that Emperor Prithviraj has been made tax-free in the state. He also tweeted in Hindi to announce and write in translation “Samrat Prithviraj movie, will be tax-free in Uttarakhand. The film is based on the life of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan, full of Patriotism, Courage, and might, and is a must-watch.
