With the ongoing pandemic of COVID 19 sony channel shifts to digital auditions for ‘KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI’

Auditions for the popular show ‘Kaun Banega crorepati’ of sony entertainment
televisions will be done via digital means due to the restrictions imposed by the
COVID 19 pandemic. For the purpose of promoting the 12th season of the show, a
homemade short film was directed with the host of the show Amitabh Bacchan. The
tag line was “Har cheez ko break lag Sakta hai… Sapno ko Nahi’.

The show first aired on the television is an adapted version of British show ‘who
wants to be a millionaire?’

“ We are certainly happy to announce the 12th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati ad
it is the first time in the history that the entire process of screening and selection will be
managed digitally. This is a season of firsts and we are sure it will redefine the power
of knowledge” said Amit Raishinghani, head, business and head of communication,
Sony Entertainment television.

The ad film was made under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari who has also directed the
popular film ‘Dangal’.

People can register from 9-22nd may for the show where Amitabh will be asking

The contestants who will be selected will have a personal interview round via video
