Kaabil actress Yami Gautam (32) and director Aditya Dhar who worked together on the 2019 blockbuster movie “Uri: The Surgical Strikes”, announced their wedding on Thursday. The couple has been privately dating for more than a year now.
She quoted poet Rumi’s line on Instagram ‘In your light, I learn to love, and also shared their photo of the wedding day on their social media. She surprised her fans by sharing the image of the ceremony. Both of them can be seen in lavish, traditional outfits.
Yami took to twitter to announce her wedding and inform her fans of the “intimate wedding ceremony”. She wrote “With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today.”
It also added, “As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya”. Many celebrities including Dia Mirza, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kartik Aaryan and Vaani Kapoor congratulated the couple on their wedding news.
On the work front Aditya is currently working on his upcoming movie “The Immortal Aswatthama” with Uri actor Vicky Kaushal.
