Actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha clarified that he didn’t taunted Akshay Kumar in his speech

The veteran Bollywood actor cum politician, Shatrughan Sinha in a recent interview told Bollywood Hungama that-

“Flaunting charity is vulgar.”

Without mentioning any particular names, he also asserted that-

“It is downright offensive and demoralizing to hear someone has contributed Rs.25 crore. Humanitarian acts shouldn’t be published.”

Soon after the interview, fans assumed that the comment was directed to none other than the well-known Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar. At that time, Akshay Kumar was the one who had announced contribution of Rs.25 crore to PM-Cares Fund for COVID-19.
When his statement- “Flaunting charity is vulgar” gone viral, Shatrughan Sinha, himself, in a fresh interview clarified that-

“When I made that statement, I didn’t have Akshay Kumar in mind. People came to their own conclusion because Akshay has given Rs.25 crore for the virus-affected. I would never target Akshay for any taunt. He is not only my daughter Sonakshi’s leading man but also a dear family friend. We visit one another socially.”

Shatrughan Sinha also stated that-

“He is consistently tapping into his stardom to try to to good for the needy and therefore the underprivileged. Whenever there is a cause, he is always at the forefront to help. His generosity and concern for the downtrodden is an example to all or any folks .”
