Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji Screened in shelter homes by Nagpur Police, the actor says ‘great efforts by you sirs.’

Amid the Lockdown, a lot of people have been dealing with anxiety. Nagpur Police set up an open theatre to showcase Ajay Devgn’s latest movie and a superhit- Tanhaji: The Unsung warrior at a shelter home to help people tackle their anxiety. It was the first movie to be played in the theatre.

The police department had announced this initiative on Twitter. “Watching a film redirects the attention and it’s an excellent way to decrease anxiety. Nagpur Police has set up an open theatre at the shelter home,” they wrote.

They had also posted a video of the open theatre on their official Twitter handle, in which
several people were watching the film on a big screen, some sitting on chairs and some on the ground. They seemed to be engrossed in the movie. It was undoubtedly a brilliant initiative but it seemed to be violating the social distancing regulations with so many people sitting closely together.

Ajay Devgn took to Twitter and said that he was humbled by this act. He also said that he would happy to be able to help in any way during the lockdown. He wrote, “If I or my films can help in any way, it makes me happy. Great efforts by you sirs. Humbled”
Ajay Devgn was last seen in the movie: Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero alongside Kajol and Saif Ali Khan. The movie earned over 270 crores at the Box Office. Recently, Ajay Devgn also celebrated his daughter’s seventeenth birthday and wished her on Instagram.
