Recently the iconic movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge has completed its 25 years. The film was released on 20th October 1995, starting big Bollywood names likes, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol Devan, Anupam Kher, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Mandira Bedi etc. Ahead of DDLJ’s anniversary Anupam Kher shares a beautiful post on his Instagram handle to celebrate the 25 years of DDLJ.

Even after so many years, the films character and iconic songs are still in the hearts of fans. Written and directed by debutant Aditya Chopra, DDLJ shattered all box office records and is one among the most important all-time blockbusters within the history of Hindi cinema.
It also went on to become the longest-running Hindi film of all time. DDLJ is additionally the winner of a record-breaking (at the time) 10 Filmfare Awards and therefore the film literally changed the face of Bollywood globally.
