Here are some celebs who got huge alimony money amounts in the history of Bolly couple’s divorces:
1) Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan – This was a fairytale love story that ended in a divorce when Hrithik and Sussanne announced their divorce. They split up in 2014 and the alimony that Sussanne demanded was a huge sum of 400 crores. Hrithik denied this on Twitter but there were rumours that he paid her 380 crores.
2) Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh – Saif’s family never approved of his marriage because of the huge age difference between the two. The two had a lavish wedding and stayed married for 13 long years. However, after the divorce, Saif had to pay a hefty amount for alimony and child support. The amount was never revealed but it is believed that it was almost half of his fortune.
3) Sanjay Dutt and Rhea Pillai – Sanjay was very much in love with his second wife but Rhea Pillai fell in love with tennis star, Leander Paes. Sanjay was not at fault for the divorce but he was the one who suffered the most. As alimony, Sanjay gave her a sea-facing luxury apartment and an expensive car. He even took care of her bills for a very long time.
4) Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur – The couple got divorced in 2016 after 13 years of marriage. According to the terms of the divorce, Karisma got Sunjay’s father’s residence in Khar which was in her name. She also received a monthly interest of ₹10 lakhs from bonds worth ₹14 crores that Sunjay had bought in their children’s names.
