National Executive Chairman of the Aam Aadmi Party, Preethi Menon on Thursday 11 November filed an FIR against Kangana against her statement to the Mumbai Police for her seditious statement as a speaker at the summit. She tweeted a picture of the complaint in her Twitter account and wrote actions should be taken under sections 504, 505 and 124A.

Earlier BJP MP Varun Gandhi also tweeted and slammed Kangana for her statement. Though Kangana has been permanently suspended from Twitter she took her Instagram to handle to give a reply to his comment, “Even though I clearly mentioned 1857 revolution first freedom fight which was curbed… which lead to more atrocities and cruelties from the British and almost a century later freedom was given to us in (Mr.) Gandhi’s begging bowl… Ja aur roo ab (go cry more).” she wrote.
