After a lot of controversial statements popped up in the entertainment industry, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar promised for something big and interesting coming up our way.
Bollywood entertainers Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan along with Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Abhishek Bachchan came live on Disney plus Hotstar on today which is June 29 at 4:30 PM to disclose the big announcement of the entertainment industry.
The special live session included all 5 of the big entertainers including the President of The Walt Disney Co and Chairman of Star & Disney India.
Earlier all five of them have taken to their social media platforms to let their fans know about the big announcement and requesting them to join for the revelation of the big announcement.
As due to the pandemic and the lockdown movies are not able to release on their given time period and also many filmmakers have already declared for a digital release of their movie on the place of theatres.
Disney plus Hotstar VIP are coming up with a bunch of movies in the coming months. Dil Bechara will be the first movie to come up for everyone with free access as a tribute for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on July 24. Following films such as Sadak 2, Bhuj, The Big Bull and Laxmi Bomb will be released in the OTT platform instead of theatrical release. All the movies will be released between July to October.
The live session started with introducing each and individual present over there after a while Varun Dhawan hosted and asked questions to each one over there.
He started with Alia asking about her hair which was followed by Akshay, Ajay and Abhishek Bachchan. He also asked about how they are spending their time in the lockdown.
Akshay also shared how his family went for watching movies every Saturday and his opinion on the current situation.
Late actor Sushant’s dil Bechara, Akshay’s Laxmi, Ajay’s Bhuj, Alia’s Sadak and Abhishek Bachchan’s big bull, Khuda Hafiz, and loot case are all the seven blockbusters movies which will be available during the span of July October.
Moving on, they talked about their films and their journey, their experiences, their other star casts etc.
Akshay’s upcoming movie, Laxmi bomb, is based on horror and comedy genre and said that wearing the sari in the movie was graceful. He appreciated how women are able to do so many things while wearing a saree.
Ajay Devgan also shared two posters from his upcoming movie Bhuj which is based on true events and also include Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha.
Sharing the poster Alia said the poster features a road leading to Mount Kailash. Alia said she would wait to be a part of her father Mahesh Bhatt’s films and is very excited for the movie.
It’s a rags-to-riches story set in the 80s said Abhishek Bachchan sharing the poster of his movie Bhuj. In the end, Varun also mentions Vidyut Jamwal and Kunal Kemmu’s films Khuda Hafiz and Lootcase. Earlier on Monday, Vidyut had tweeted about not being invited to the event.
The live event was full of enjoyment as more than 6000 people joined them live.
