Delhi Crime Season 2 is an upcoming crime drama streaming television series written and directed by Richie Mehta. It is developed by Laurence Brown and Toby Bruce. The crime drama series is inspired by true events.
Vartika Chaturvedi, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) is in the charge of an important investigation with her team to save Delhi and its senior citizens from a vicious gang of murderers. It is a Netflix thriller where a violent quadruple murder incites public fear and escalates New Delhi’s class divide. DCP Vartika and her team try to find the murderers before they attack the city’s senior citizens and innocent lives are lost again.
The producers are Aaron Kaplan, Jeff Sagansky, Florence Sloan, Apoorva Bakshi and Pooja Kohli under Golden Caravan and Ivanhoe Productions. The lead role in the crime drama series is played by Shefali Shah while Rasika Dugal, Aakash Dahiya, Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Denzil Smith, Avijit Dutt and Gopal Dutt play supporting roles.
The cinematography is done by Johan Heurlin Aidt and the crime drama series is edited by Beverly Mills. Each episode’s running time consists of 45 to 64 minutes. The previous season consisted of 7 episodes. Delhi Crime Season 2 is scheduled to be released on August 26 and distributed by Netflix.
