Hocus Pocus 2 is an upcoming American fantasy horror film written by Jen D’Angelo and directed by Anne Fletcher. This movie is a sequel to the 1993 film Hocus Pocus. It is based on Characters by Mick Garris and David Kirschner.
Hocus Pocus 2 is set in present-day Salem, 29 years after the first film’s events occurred. Three young women accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters to modern-day Salem and must figure out how to stop the evil and power-hungry witches from causing chaos, wreaking havoc and destroying the world.
The producers are Steven Haft, Lynn Harris, Bonnie Hlinomaz, David Kirschner, Adam Shankman and Ralph Winter under Walt Disney Pictures and David Kirschner Productions. The lead roles in the movie are played by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker while Doug Jones, Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Hannah Waddingham, Tony Hale and Sam Richardson play supporting roles. The music of this movie is composed by John Debney while Elliot Davis does the cinematography. Hocus Pocus 2 is scheduled to be released on 30th September and distributed by Disney+ and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
