Vikram Vedha is an upcoming Hindi action thriller written and directed by Pushkar Gayathri. This film is a remake of a 2017 Tamil film of the same name. Neeraj Pandey writes the screenplay of the film.
The movie revolves around Vikram, a no-nonsense police officer who is accompanied by his partner, Simon to hunt and capture Vedha, a smuggler and a murderer. They lead a special task force to eliminate Vedha’s gang and stop the chaos and disorder rampant in the city. Suddenly, Vedha turns himself in and things get even more complicated when it turns out that Vikram’s wife is Vedha’s lawyer.
The producers are S. Sashikanth, Chakravarthy Ramachandra, Neeraj Pandey, Shital Bhatia and Bhushan Kumar under YNOT Studios, Plan C Studios, T-Series Films and Reliance Entertainment. The lead roles in the movie are played by Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Radhika Apte while Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani and Sharib Hashmi play supporting roles. The movie’s music is composed by Vishal Shekhar while the cinematography is done by P.S. Vinod. The movie is edited by Richard Kevin. Vikram Vedha is scheduled to be released in theatres on 30th September.
